Black Homeownership Fair

Did you know that housing was a key part of Dr. King’s vision for economic justice? In 1966, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr expounded on this dream by stating, “Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy. Now is the time to open the doors of opportunity to all of God’s children. That door to opportunity is home ownership – which, for most Americans, is their single most valuable asset.”

In honor of his legacy, the Los Angeles County African American Employees Association (LACAAEA), in collaboration with African Consular Corps will host a Black Homeownership Fair on Saturday, March 25, 2023. Register today!
